Get the mussels in white sauce. Huge portion, delicious sauce that you can dip your bread in. Would drive there just for the mussels!!

The service was kind of slow even though the restaurant was pretty empty with a few groups at the bar.
I ordered the mussels, Crab pizza and lobster ravioli
The mussels and crab pizza were so, so. Nothing to rave about but I really enjoyed the lobster ravioli. -

Used to be our go to spot in AC after our trek down from Philadelphia for the past 2 years. The food was always good, parking easy and we didn't have to go through all the hooplah of getting dressed up to go dine at the casinos. I just can't get over the hidden charges and this must be new because we used to go here once a month.
So takeaways:
1) they charge 19% service fee for a party of 4. (Jokes on them we always give an absolute minimum of 20% but this just irked me)
2) they charge a ~4% fee on credit cards. This is legal, trust me, I checked. They are only required to make a mention of it somewhere visible (it's in small font on the front of menu) I wish the server had mentioned it when we handed her the card because we could have just as easily paid cash.
3) I'm super bummed because I cannot go back on principal. And they have the an amazing clams and linguine...
In the meantime as I sit here writing this, pouting that we will have to find our new go to in AC, I hope management will see that they have lost previously loyal customers and discontinue these poor business practices. -

Not bad for a couple of drinks, but avoid dinner here. I paid $42 for the Steak and Crab cake dinner. I don't care for baked potatoes - I was not allowed to substitute the baked potato for anything else - not even a vegetable or fries. The asparagus side that was described on the menu turned out to be literally two asparagus spears. That is not even one serving, never-mind a "side." I was also unimpressed with the quality or cut of meat. Perhaps it was previously frozen. Although it was cooked medium-rare correctly.
I spent around $70 for an unimpressive dinner and two drinks - avoid dinner here or avoid all together. -

Stopped for a quick lunch. Waitress / bartender was friendly and helpful with picking out some items. End up getting the crab balls which she highly recommended which were good but the dip ranch dressing that came with them was amazing The onion rings were also good and not pre-frozen. The crab cake sandwich was delicious. Crabmeat with seasoning little to no filler and had a slightly sweet but tasty taste. Place itself is old and dated.
